If I hold residential and commercial CCB endorsements, do I need two bonds?
Yes. CCB materials and ORS 701.068 require a residential bond and a commercial bond when you are endorsed for both. Amounts follow ORS 701.081 and 701.084 for each endorsement—not one combined figure for both.
Is the statutory public works bond the same as my CCB license bond?
No. The $30,000 public works bond under ORS 279C.836 is additional security for qualifying public works projects (generally over $100,000). It does not replace the residential or commercial CCB license bond for your endorsement.
Does a landscape LCB bond replace a CCB bond?
No. Landscape contracting businesses bond with the Landscape Contractors Board. Construction work that requires a CCB endorsement still needs the matching CCB bond.
